About PRO
At the Pakistan Robot Olympiad, participants engage in a variety of exhilarating and challenging competitions designed to test their engineering, programming, and problem-solving abilities. With over 1000 participants in previous years, PRO has grown into one of the largest robotics events in Pakistan, attracting talent from all corners of the country.
This Olympiad fosters a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by enabling students to design, build, and program robots to solve real-world problems. It encourages teamwork, innovation, and hands-on learning while promoting a collaborative and competitive spirit.
Competition Categories
PRO offers a diverse range of robotics competitions for various age groups and skill levels. The categories for this year’s event are:
Tug of Titans
A test of strength and strategy, where teams design robots to compete in a battle of wills, trying to pull or push their opponents in a controlled environment.
Sumo Clash
Teams build robots that compete in a sumo-style competition, where the goal is to push the opponent’s robot out of the ring using speed, power, and technique.
Ultimate Racing Championship
A high-speed race event where robots compete to navigate a challenging track, testing speed, accuracy, and precision.
Tech Futsal
A combination of robotics and soccer, where robots work as teams to score goals, mimicking the fast-paced action of futsal and requiring advanced coordination and engineering.
Each category is designed to engage participants in hands-on learning, testing their abilities to work under pressure and pushing the boundaries of their robotic creations.
